Air Antwerp to double flights from London City Airport to Antwerp on Sundays
Air Antwerp will adjust its flight schedule on the London City Airport - Antwerp route to suit better the needs of its passengers. From December 22, 2019, the Belgian regional airline will offer two flights to London on Sundays. At present, Air Antwerp is serving the route only once on Sunday.
At the same time, it was decided that on Tuesdays the airline will fly in the morning and evening only. On all other weekdays Air Antwerp will continue to offer three daily flights from London to Antwerp.
The Antwerp-based regional airline commenced its operations on the popular business route between London City and Antwerp on 9th September 2019. Johan Maertens, CEO of Air Antwerp, explains why the flight schedule has been adjusted: “In recent weeks, we have seen that on Sundays the demand is greater than we had initially expected. That is why we are going to double the number of flights on Sundays from 22 December onwards. In this way we want to better match our offer to the travel needs of our customers. It is not only passengers who, thanks to Air Antwerp, want to visit friends and family members in a quick and pleasant way during the weekend, but also city trippers who like to explore another city and business travellers who already want to fly to Antwerp or the centre of London at the end of the weekend."
Air Antwerp is operating 16 flights a week from London City Airport to Antwerp with a 50-seat Fokker 50 turboprop.
